When I was 15 Mum and I went on a road trip up to Northern NSW. We were driving a long a small country road and I remember mum squealing with delight as she pulled the car over.
On the side of the road there were flannel flowers growing. I remember touching the petals and the softness of these beautiful flowers just blew me away!
